Okay, I exaggerate a little - most of the time it's "that darn battery again" due to me leaving the lights on not turning the tender on - most of the time it's easy to overcome - this time though it's definitely the battery that's dead - it's a genuine Mopar battery code 0500 3802 AA and lasted 7 years so not bad.

New Mopar battery going in although I'm not so sure about the Fiat part number sticker - anyway, I hope the replacement lasts long enough for me to repay the load I needed to buy it - is it me or have batteries become a bit expensive lately.

I'll bite...how much will a new Mopar battery set you back?

100 percent, you must use a tender on these cars!

I got a new one year before last from Baz's chap at US Auto. I had heard that the MOPAR ones from Fiat can be a bit hit and miss? Mine wasn't expensive but I did have to drive to their office to collect.

The ONLY reason the generally crummy OEM Mopar 12V lasted so long is due to your faithful use of the Battery Tender.

I wish there was a similar device for humans! Id clip myself in at night...
