Hey guys,

I have a racecar I built out of a 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith and I have a Gen III Viper V10 engine and trans installed.

I am not running a heater in the car and I was wondering if anybody knew if I should just plug the lines where the heater hoses originally are on the engine, or run a hose to connect them?

I have them plugged now, but just want to make sure it is fine that way. I had some overheating issues on the track and trying to rule out all the problems.

Thanks!

It's about time someone put a Viper motor in a RR. Well-done sir.

I would personally run a hose. It was designed to have flow and now that it doesn't the coolant will sit stagnant in those 2 locations you plugged and heat up. Even if it's not the source of the overheating I would think you've created a dead leg in the coolant loop that can trap air which can also cause issues.
