ACR, no question. The 2.0 is only moderately better than the 1.0 in downforce with all the extra stuff....I don't see a real point to the 2.0...really only need the 1.0 then jump to the ACR and get significantly more performance. The 2.0 is a lot like the Aero coupe that was offered on the Gen 4's.

Track Use Not Really , 90 Percent street, But The Money Between The 2 Cars Is 13k, With The ACR You Get, The Carbon Brakes Free ,With The ACR Interier, Love That Deal , Who's Knows That Deal Will Last , Will The ACR be That Stiff Of A Ride ??, I Don't Know, WTF!!! But Have To Make My Mind Up Soon !!!

With the 1 of 1, would be very cool if you could just mix and match everything. TA1 with carbon brakes and ACR hood... Holy shit i just messed my keyboard.

I'm pretty much having the same skull session over the decision.

If you're not tracking it at all, like never, then I personally wouldn't get an ACR, I don't think. I know a couple guys with prev gen ACRs, one never tracked it, the other barely drove it. To me, I just don't get that, you're buying a track version of the car with no intention of tracking it ever, like ever, or even driving it much, then like why.

I know some just want the ACR on the fender and to own what many think the ultimate version of the viper is, I get that I guess, if that's the deal, then nothing else really matters, the ACR is the king of the models so buy it, that plays into my thinking just a little, I've never had a 'special model' with my prev 4 so it'd be nice to have a TA or better just because. But other than that, for a cruiser and all around enjoyable car that's totally badass, I'd do a 1of1, you get all the GT comforts, then add the TA/2.0 group. You have a ripping look, awesome perf and features that are great for the street all for a good price point.

If you're going to track it a few times a year, like me, I do about 3 times in the viper and 3 times in my GT500 and 4 or so on the bike, then I'd think hard about the ACR. My thinking is that if I did the ACR, I may never take another car to the track, so my track days in it would double at least and I may even change my other toy since I wouldn't track it per se. like a vert of something.

Hec, I say go for the ACR, let's call Courtney or Bill together and see if they can give us a deal 'we can't refuse' to go ACR and sell 2 at one pop. Haha, I kid, but seriously, j/k, but lets' do it, lol.

Exactly my thoughts. I only bought it my aero coupe because it was a good deal that popped up 30 mins from my house. However in the back of my head I always wanted the ACR and answering "is it an ACR?" question to every car guy got old. TA 2.0 I see no point for.

Resale down the road. Everyone will wan the ACR. Look at Gen IV ACR prices compared to other Gen IVs.

The 2.0 is $101.995 (before gas guzzler & destination) while the ACR base is $117.895 (before gas guzzler & and destination). about a $16k difference. However, being that the ACR base does not come with either the carbon fiber X-brace and the 12 speakers, both of which are included on the 2.0, I would absolutely have to have both added to the ACR base. This would add another $5 to $6k, but would totally make it worth it to me. Also, colors, stripes and wing styles may play into your decision as well as money.

In the end, you're the one that's going to have to make a decision that's best for you.

Wtf... they took the carbon fiber X-brace off the 2.0's for 2016???

    Your options sound great!!! Congrats!

    $94,995 - Viper 1 of 1
    $19,000 - ACR package
    $6,000 - ACR interior
$0,000 - Free Carbon brakes when ACR interior is ordered.

$119,995 for a 1 of 1 "base" ACR with ACR interior and Carbon brakes. That or just get a base ACR 1 of 1 for $113,995 and rock 2 piece brakes and the regular interior.

I think the "brass monkey" wheels would look good with the stryker purple

Oh, ok... the carbon fiber X-brace is an option within the the above^^^

However, if you build a base SRT, then add the 2.0 package, the CF x-brace is included:
    TA 2.0 PACKAGE
    18" x 10.5" 19" x 13" Sidewinder II Matte Blck Whls
    5-Mode Electronic Stability Control
Anodized Black Calipers with Orange Lettering
    Carbon Fiber Structural X-Brace
    Lower Dive Planes
    P295/30ZR18 P355/30ZR19 Performance/Track Tires
    Pirelli Brand Tires
    Rear Carbon Fiber Applique
    Serialized Dash Plaque
    Ta Front Decal
    TA Front Splitter
    TA Sill Decal
    Time Attack Two Mode Suspension
    Track Car Cover

All this being said, if you have the $$$, go for your options!

I think it depends on whether you track it or not. I would have ordered an ACR if it was available when I ordered my 2.0. My Gen 4 ACR drove ok on the streets unless it was below 54F or it smelled like rain mainly due to the Pilot sport cups. The 2.0 is very easy to drive on the street, the only issue is ground clearance for the scuff guards. I wonder if the new ACR tires will be as hard to live with on the street as the Pilot sport cups. If not, go with the ACR.

One complaint I have with the build configuration and many of you have mentioned, is no shipping or gas guzzler is figured in so .......Base ACR is 122,490 , and a 1 of 1 is 124,590 with the same options ( not less than a base ACR as some of you have assumed ). Thank Dodge for this 1 of 1 price correction, though, since initially a 1 of 1 was much higher. Concierge service , and ability to customize starts with the 1 of 1 and it is the only way to get a Stryker Purple model .

I Made My Choice, And I Went, 2.0 1OF1,STYRKER PURPLE, It Was The Right Fit For Me , Tracking The Car Will Not Happen , And If i Wish To ,The 2.0 Will Make It Around The Track, I Just Think The ACR Ride Will Be Too Harsh ,And Not That Streetable, I Know How The T/A Rides And Love It, So I Figure ,I Got The Best Of Both Worlds !!!! Order Is Complete, And Now The Wait Begins !!!!!!!

There was one done with the option package by Woodhouse in 2015. Keep in mind it is not a TA 2.0, but a GTC with the Option package. The actual TA 2.0 or TA 1.0 is available in three colors and very limited options - it comes standard as a relatively inexpensive track beast.

Out of curiosity, and because I haven't looked at every post in every thread, but where does one find the GTC - ACR options for the 1 of 1 program when building a Viper, like the option sheet that Iv'e seen in this thread? Particularly the Extreme Aero Package?

You're talking 2015 right? Cause I know you can get a 2016 TA in any color you want.
