I recently approved the color for my 2016 1 of 1 order and am curious how long it takes to receive a VIN, concierge info, etc.

Curious what others who've gone through the process experienced time wise.

I think my VIN was available after a couple of weeks. Start to end was about 3.5 months. Tara (Concierge) was great to work with. Give her a call. She can outline the process for you and explain the build stages.

on a acr with duel strips does the rear wing get painted like on the 2010 acrs? or is the wing exposed carbon fiber?

Rear wing gets paint with dual stripes.

There seem to be a lot of rear wing paint schemes. Are these all set in stone based on the stripe package? I think I've seen:

inner endplates painted to match driver's stripe
all black
exposed carbon
dual stripes

thanks bill. what a shame. we should have the option to leave it with the exposed carbon fiber.

Depends on what stripe is done --- dual stripes require a painted wing, the driver's stripe ( alone ) will have the weave. If you do the center band and driver's stripe it will also leave with the carbon fiber weave.

i wish they would just not paint the wing. even if they dont put the stripe on it.
