Carbon Fiber from Bolt On Mods

Here are the pics I promised. Carbon Fiber from Tim Updyke at Bolt-on-mods.com

    His parts are:
    • TA Spoiler
    • TA Splitter
    • Rear Brake Ducts
    • Rear Tail Light Surround/ Applique

Front brake ducts and rear diffuser are agency, but match perfectly.

Looks awesome. Very OEM. I would love to have a custom set of the removable hood louvers on my new ACR made in carbon fiber. I think those would look great in CF.

Hmm...not sure how you'd do that but I like the thought. I'd like to see the whole front grill area in CF!

Do you have any close ups of the weave and finish on the clear?

I can get them....just not pro shots.

I held them up to OEM pieces and I didn't see a difference.

When will the TA spoiler and splitter be for sale? How much? I don't see any info on the website. I'll buy both if they are reasonable.

Let me know on this bud... I was just doing my homework on hydrodiping it as a cheap alternative.

I think hydro-dipping looks super lame on a Viper. Even mustangs and camaros are running around with authentic carbon bits. Hydro-dipping is for young guys trying to get a carbon look on a budget, I would know because I am one. It would not do justice to your beautiful viper.

I'm not big on aesthetic pieces, but those brake ducts look uber cool. On white, silver they would really pop.

Hydro-dipping depends on the place, I've seen some great looking pieces, pretty popular in the stang world, being I'm on my 11th stang, 2nd GT500, I've seen a lot of good and bad. I've seen hydro-dipped hood vents on the GT500 that were an incredible upgrade in look, but the stock piece looks jinky, being plastic, so it's all relative. On the viper, yea, it'd have to be one good hydro-dip piece, but considering the hood vents are not a great plastic also, might work.

hydrodipping just looks terrible, esp on a six figure vehicle. don't do it.
