It was owned by Burnyzz speed shop in Ocala Florida. Owner bough car new, sent to RSI for TT kit then sold the car. From what I know, the bugs were worked out and it was a good car. He buys and sells cars for a living and had it up for sale almost immediately after getting it back from RSI. I don't know what he sold it for, but this appears to be a pretty good deal for someone wanting a TT gen V.

Great looking car, saw it a few times over at RSI while they were building it. Some incredible work done to it.

So why the negative comments on it if all the bugs were worked out? Seems crazy someone would put that kind of money in it and it only has 700 miles on it. Crazy!! If I was in the GenV market right now it might be tempting.....

Isn't this the second time Elite has had it for sale (making the next owner the 3rd owner)? The first time with 200 miles (looks like the photos are from the first time) as they state the mileage is now 700 miles.

I would seriously doubt the bugs were worked out in only 700 miles. Just doesn't seem possible, especially with RSI's reputation.

Elite is a good dealer, but I doubt they know what they have on their hands.

RSI has quite their own reputation.

I don't "buy" that someone bought a TA for $95k, dumped $50-100k or whatever into a TT, then sold it a few hundred miles later at an impressive loss. Fools and their money, but let's be honest.

Screams "run fast" on all accounts.

The one that was recently for sale went to another shop building a TT setup.

I would say this car has already had (2) owners....the pics of the Viper on Elites website show 200 or so miles on it and I think that was taken back when elite first got it in Feb. If you go to their facebook page, sometime in March he has a pic of (2) orange Vipers, twin turbo cars, being delivered, sold to two different people in the same town. One of those cars is the orange TT RSI viper. So that would be the second owner, now I am not sure if the second owner actually titled the car though, he might not have and just drove it around for 500 miles and then gave it back, in which case it still might show only "one" owner but I would bet my life it has been in a couple of different hands. But now it is back at elite though and he is selling it for a second time and it shows 700 miles.

    RSI = Hennessy = XVipers.

FWIW... There's a lot of negative info on the alley regarding RSI. From what I have read I wouldn't let them work on my lawn mower.

Judging by the negative comments of the general public on here, I wouldn't give RSI or an RSI vehicle a try.

But playing devils advocate here, in the Lambo world, no matter which house did the turbos, Underground being the most popular for example, all the big turbo builds tend to get sold off almost immediately. Which is crazy after putting tens or even hundreds of thousands into a build, only to sell it for a loss, almost immediately.

Want a budget twin turbo Lambo? Wait a little bit, an owner with a freshly built one will unload it for a loss. I don't understand it, but happens perpetually.

I always scratch my head on this exact point with many of the TTG builds.

My guess is some of these owners get the hell scared out of them after they actually drive a 1000+rwhp car.

is anyone close enough to Elite to go check it out in person and take a test drive in it. I've read a ton of negative stuff about RSI but I would like to hear from a member if the car actually runs good or bad.

I am always amazed at some of the comments that are made by people online. This car that is for sale is a solid car that runs well, and puts down over 1000RWHP on E85. The owner that built it decided to go bigger and rather than upgrade this one, wanted to order a 1 of 1 car. My understanding is that the car has been with a "Friend" of Elite's for a few months and now the car is for sale at a great price.

As for the comments about our reputation, and what people read online about RSI. We haven't tried to hide that we had problems with our company and have had been going through a very public turn around. I constantly see negative comments about RSI from people that don't know anything about our company and have never had any sort of personal experience with us. The actual clients that do business with us are labelled as Nutswingers and attacked, or if someone posts a positive comment or review many times those comments are deleted. We have been made out to be the "Bad Guys" when we really were just the guys dealing with some issues. We have never run from a problem or tried to hide, we have always tried to find the amicable resolutions to take care of all the issues and only bring a fight to a problem when the fight is first brought to us. We had a significant back log that has been mostly cleared and over the past year have been on track with timeframes and builds. The quality of our finished work has always been of the highest caliber and it wasn't until recently that anyone even attempted to attack us on this. Many of these supposed quality issues are coming out of shops or friends of shops that are trying to get into the Viper market. Even with all the reputation BS that everyone wants to talk, we finish more Vipers a month than some of these shops have ever touched.

We finished the first Gen 5 turbo car in summer of 2013. Had a built engine car completed for SEMA 2013 and that car has been the highest HP Gen 5 on the road since then. It made 1100RWHP in 2013 and was converted to an Air to Water system earlier this year and retuned to 1300RWHP. It raced the Silver State Classic Challenge completing the 90 mile run within 1mph of its target speed and also winning the Mile event there.

The bottom line is that we have been on a solid path to turning everything around for the past year. It will still take time to clean up issues, but we will clean up every issue that we have caused. As for the new projects, we have been completing them on time and as expected with most turbo builds taking between 4-6 weeks. We won't be able to keep people from talking negatively about our company because we honestly created a big mess. We only ask that we are judged by how we have dealt and are dealing with those problems.
