    Targa

Has anyone gotten the Targa-top conversion? Thinking about it?

The most recent thing I have heard is that there are orders in place for it; I don't believe anyone has had a completed order done yet.
Yes I know there are a lot of folks still waiting for pictures.

I feel like I got the hot chick to come back to my place, she unzipped and said, let me freshen up, stepped into the bathroom leaving me on the bed with my ambitions pointing skyward .... and that was a month ago. One pic of the top in the hatch compartment ain't going to generate orders. I'm seriously thinking about it but it totally depends on the look. I need pics an video.

I keep thinking, Targa over the winter, or trade up to a TA 2.0 or base ACR. This viper thing is a terrible addiction.

I will do the targa conversion. It might take a me a couple years to save up for it but I know i'll do it.

I just want to see some really good pics and vids too.

The pics I have seen were enough to persuade me. It is tops on my mod list for sure. Maybe when the dollar is better. But I do wonder what Prefix is thinking with the poor press release on this stuff? I am positive there is a good market for this mod, but they need to market it to let people know it is available and show them how awesome it looks. Maybe they just aren't equipped to handle the volume of orders just yet?

Saw the Targa at Prefix recently and I was blown away. I wasn't even considering this mod and after about 5 min, I had to have it. I am planning to do it this fall.

Is that really it? Was not expecting that, but understand why they had to do the rear cut out looking at those pictures. I was hoping it might flow better to look natural. I would need to see more pictures. Unfortunately for me, it would be a no if I had a GEN V car. Hate to say it but a glass roof seems like a better option and cleaner.

If I can free up the cash, it would have to be a factory vert if they built one. This picture is kind of telling on why the Viper may be struggling with a factory vert. Seat position is really screwing with angles for a nice flowing targa, useful trunk, etc. doesn't look like an easy solution.

You mean they only pay you 10 Grand to do that to your GenV? Yikes!

They need to get pics and vid out or people are going to just blow this off. That pic doesn't totally kill my interest but it cooled it down a lot. That looks like a chop IMO, not a result for a $100+K viper. But it's one pic and the angle may be making it look that way.

But with this bad pic, and them not posting any when you know they have completed cars, makes you think, if it looked sexy they'd be posting, so why aren't they posting, hmm. Looking forward to more info.

I cant judge it until I see full body shots on a nice day outside. Its hard to make up my mind with these shots.
On that note, I love the interior!

I think that top is going to look epic in person. Need some shots at a distance so you can see how the lines flow.

Strange how it looks great with the top on. LoL.

Agree, need some angle shots with her top off. By her I mean the car of course.

Not a fan. Hate the look of the cutback because of the brake ducts. I dont like the lines with the top on where they had to cut it. I wonder how it would look if it was cut straight across in front of the brake ducts? I know it would be over the drivers and passengers heads but I think it would still give the open air effect and look a bunch cleaner.

Id rather it go slightly over the seats too and use a straight line.
