Cool Official results from the VIR event (Ultimate Track Car Challenge)

Keating won 1st in his Viper GT3-R (lap 1:46.44)

Winkler, driving a bone stock '16 ACR took 12th place. (lap 1:56.73). Only stock vehicle on the list, from what I was told.

Congrats to Viper on both top 12 placings.

19th place was a Viper TA, does anybody know if that was stock or modified?

    Ben's the man! That's awesome!

Michael Levitas in 8th place in the Porsche is one of our partners in our Active suspension program as well.

Do we know how the 1:56.7 stacks up with other fast street cars? Seems quick

Why reason Ben didn't put down a lap in it?

A little practice before the big GTD race on the 23rd of August can't hurt! I wonder what the others in the GTLM and GTD class will be running at VIR this year. Nice to see the Viper dominate all other entries in the group although I'm not really sure what to make of the competition. One thing for sure is that GTD car is detuned and has no TC or ABS. Impressive!

The ACR is going to be a beast in the right hands with enough seat time...WOW.

There was one, very fast, on target to do a 1:4x lap, but transmission overheated right before the ECU pulled timing, all happened after 59 seconds...

That's impressive. Chris Winkler isn't even a pro driver. Keep in mind this guy did a 1:33 on Sport Cup tires at Laguna Seca in a gen 4 ACR..

Holy crap, Chris Winkler's 1:56.7 beat Cody Kishel's 1:57.0!?! Whenever I've tracked with Cody, he's been the fastest car out there. When I ran a 1:52 at Buttonwillow in my stock GTS, he ran a blistering 1:46 at Buttonwillow in this gutted, full-race C6 Vette. The fact that the stock ACR is in the same zip code as Cody's C6 Vette says a lot. The C6's engine barely idles, it's so damn lopey. Seriously lightened, serious aero, and top notch driver. And Chris beat him in a bone-stock ACR. And Ben smoked him by 11 seconds, LOL. I'm blown away. Here are some shots of Cody's beast at Buttonwillow:

Registered as a TA2.0, not sure if stock or not. Not finding any good photos of this event, either.

Now you'll have no excuses for not keeping up with him

Congrats to Ben and team for the awesome performance. Chris Winkler looks like he was sure wringing out that ACR, well at least 5 seconds worth when compared with that TA and its unknown mods.

Brad Wood ran his TA 2.0 out there... he did 2:00.605 best.

Excuse the off topic video... but just found this and had to share.. First FWD car to EVER break the 2:00 barrier at VIR Full and it neared the top speed of the Gen V ACR.

Impressive run by that Neon. Not far off a stock ACR. Interior looks intact too. Is it also a street legal car like the ACR? If so much respect.

I knew a SARHD that use to run low 2's with a Dastek management system...

With exception of brake fluid, race motor oil and Hoosier R6's this car was bone stock.
