Stripes: Pre-cut kit on the Viper Store or custom?

    7/20

So I've decide to stripe The Bitch (affectionately). To those who have done or have experience do you recommend having the stripes custom to the car, or one of the kits that are available like on The Viper Store. I checked and the product from the kits is made by Oracle and is a Oracle - 7 year spec vinyl. It goes on wet only. The shop I've found that promises awesome results either way does not use razors, etc. all the stuff that worries me. There are great measurements by a member on here for cutting at a shop. They charge $65 p/hr if I supply the kit or $55 p/hr for doing it all and the kits run about $320. So the labor equivalent would be about 6 more hours. I'm only concerned about the outcome. All stripes removed.jpg

I've decided to do double white with the car almost black (gunmetal pearl). Just have to decide if I want the tapered front that get skinny over the nose, the fang style stopping on the hood or the Shelby style. Thanks in advance for your help and recommendations!

If the stripes are precut then the labor will be wayyyy less. Those hoods are quite complex.

I ordered the Viper Store kit and had it installed before I took delivery of my 15 TA. Woodhouse arranged installation and they look great. Do the thing on the top of the back window too. Nice finishing touch.

Been doing a fair amount of stripes lately. The pre cut kits are crap imo. Cheap 7 year sign vinyl. Find someone good and have them use either 3M 1080 or Avery wrap vinyl. Measure and knifeless tape the whole thing. $350 is stupid cheap...we charge double that but our installed product is perfect down to 2mm.

Can you please provide more pictures of your car both indoor and outdoor to see the colour under sunlight. As I'm interested in your stripe colour and also I sent you a PM a while back.

    Thanks
    Yousif

Ya man...sorry...my stripes are Avery In satin black.

We also removed the OEM emblems and made our own out if 3M black reflective vinyl. At nigh...the emblem literally looks like it's lit. Three pics...same ebmelm.. different angles and one with flash.

Are the stripes on both these pictures the same colour or is it two different colour strips ? As I like prefer the one below which looks kind of matt dark grey.

^^^^Same car...same stripes. Just different angles. The matte and satin really change sheen at different angles and light conditions.
