Reliable has been shipping Vipers for years and years. We used them to bring most of the Hurst Challengers here (back in 2009 thru 2011 ) and have often recommended them to our clients
if they want a solid, dependable and careful Semi Tractor trailer delivery. There has been some confusion over the last year, but all Snakes come enclosed right to the Dealer's door.

We still ship to our customers in one car, enclosed , race trailers, but to us it is always the Orange trucks from Reliable.

All it took was a pissed off CEO to get this model.

Now if we could just get him pissed off again so he makes an ACR...

The only number I have seen is $120480, I think the car has no options.

The reason behind the pricing confusion is most magazines, guides, etc. , fail to add in the gas guzzler tax or shipping. The pricing of around 123K may have come from a computer glitch in the
ordering system that showed the rims at $1700 extra cost, when they were part of the TA package. This was quickly noted and was corrected by SRT soon after they were notified of the
concern. This brought the pricing back down to 120,480 and that pricing is a huge credit to Ralph and crew, as this also includes the 12 speaker stereo system, the NAV and backup system and
they were not part of the initial preliminary pricing given to many Dealers. Kudos go to them for holding the line and adding even more equipment --- obvious to many of us that this may be the
    bargain Snake of 2014!!!

we have used them on a few Gen4 cars, but I have always liked Belanger that's why I chose them for mine when I built it.

For the love of all that is holy, Henry's kidney may be on eBay to swing another orange car.

(If you are reading this, Henry, sorry... but you know I wanted a Gen V)

Funniest thing I've read in ages!

Remember, Henry has two kidneys...and insurance covers dialysis.

Mark, with all the "you can't mod a gen5", and "I changed the air filter & got a CEL and then the car imploded and created a black hole". Can you clarify the mods for the headers with Corsa? You're doing this and not doing any computer stuff (O2 simulators, or PCM or anything?) and the cars are running fine (I assume strong), without CELs or other issues?

I'd assume if the car doesn't throw a CEL then it'd pass an OBDII scan state emissions test ..??

    Thanks!!

All correct as of this time, we will have 5 cars running soon and hopefully they all react the same as the beta car has. Each owner understands this risk and I will do what I have to if something changes. The only thing that may not pass would be a visual check I assume.

Lou has done many test to make this as PCM friendly as possible to get to this configuration. The longevity of the cats will be the determining factor, that is why he has upped the ante in that respect. If in fact there was a CEL for the inefficiency code at some point it would not cause a limp mode so it would be a light, but that would be it. Hopefully if that ever happens I will be pushing even harder for a PCM option, but we know where that is right now. :-(

Although you may not get a CEL, the sensitivity of the IAT sensors and being that close to the filter could potentially contaminate the sensors and possibly provide false calibration information to the PCM (lower performance?). I have always discouraged the use of the K&N on the Gen4/5 Viper because of the ram air pressure that is present at speed. The factory filter is well braced for this and the K&N does not appear to be well suited for it. Just my 2c.

It seems that my kidneys are always for sale. Makes me wonder sometimes. The TA is very cool but it would have to be orange viper #3 - the 1st 2 aren't going anywhere if I have anything to say about it...

Of course it is possible that I don't!!

Settle down, kidney donor. Was talking additively, not replacing any of your children.
