I might try another shop on the ACR.
Yeah I'm scared to try another shop. Especially handing them over my new ACR!
Let me know what you find though. Thanks Chris..

This is the smart choice- solid color, no stripe. Like you said, all nice choices. I've been eyeing the Competition Blue as well, bold as a race car should be.

Although I think matte white would look bad ass, I think it would be difficult to keep that finish pristine. Tire marks, oily fingers, all the things that happen at the track probably wouldn't work well for matte.

Black with SSG however sounds beastly!

Yes the colors can be done in Matte , but keep in mind this does not refer to the Anodized Carbon , which is causing the confusion. In fact all 8000 of the custom colors for the 1 of 1 can be done in Matte. I am sure it would look cool, but as a track rat the hunks of rubber and other debris would offer a very special challenge when considering how one must clean this special paint. Would look interesting, no doubt, but if heavily tracked I think I would go with a standard paint color - imho.

Looks like I'm going silver extreme ACR. No other fru-fru.
I find out tomorrow if Chrysler is willing to let an Extreme option order in this early from Canada.

I love all the Viper colors, I feel every car is going to look beautiful, I traded in a Gen V with stripes, but for me BLACK VIPERS MATTER, so I ordered all black, no stripes, I like the bad ass sinister look.

This is incorrect. You cannot order the anodized carbon package but you can order the anodized carbon paint in the 1:1. I have this on order now:

Anodized carbon with matte red driver stripe
    Extreme aero
    Red interior contrast ACR interior
    Carbon ceramic brakes
    Carbon X brace
    Exterior and interior carbon

    Correct.

Man, I've seen so many people in different threads ordering ACR's I think at least half of this forum will soon be filled with ACR owners. Haha.

Actually not necessarily. If you are doing the 1 of 1 program you need to order the ACR interior as well to get the carbon ceramics I think. They changed this as you used to have to pay for it. If you get a 1 of 1 ACR without the ACR interior and say you go with the full leather interior you have to pay for the carbon ceramics as an option. Therefore, it is possible to get an ACR without the carbon ceramic brakes although this is less likely for most of us.

This is true, you do need to select the ACR interior to get the CCBs included.

For free you need to select the ACR interior. If you don't then you have to pony up the dough for the CCB.

I was not given an option for "ACR" interior. How does the acr's interior differ?

I ordered mine on Monday with:

    GTC 1of1 Viper ACR
    Venom Black exterior paint
    Driver band stripe in red
    FREE Carbon ceramic matrix brakes
    Standard ACR aero package
    Standard ACR wheels/rims
    ACR red accented interior
    Free tint
Free Poly Steel protective coat for the bumper

I was told that although I ordered the standard black that I will probably have to wait two to three weeks in order to get the plastic paint samples. I haven't gotten a call from anyone at the manufacturer regarding production and I haven't received my portal access yet.

Oh, and on the dash badge the name will be "Black Mamba", because f__k the world, that's why! :-)

    First of all...ALL VIPERS MATTER!

Also, for those of you tracking with a matte finish, what about trying the temporary "clear" bra option? I put the word "clear" in quotations because I think it's actually white, like what you see on cars getting delivered to the dealership on a truck. There might be an opaque version too. But it's made for weekend use. i can't remember the name of it off hand. But can you use that on matte? Seems a lot quicker than blue taping the entire thing.

I don't know what a new (they are better than they used to be) clear bra looks on a factory matte finish. But maybe the temporary will give you best of both worlds.

I think if you ordered an actual ACR, not a 1 of 1 with ACR add-ons, it will automatically come with the ACR interior, I think.

If you go through the 1 of 1 program, you will have a choice of the ACR interior or not, I think.
