Unable to edit my posts as before

Mods I usually create a post, and then read my posting, and then immediately edit. it

My first 100 posts I was able to edit away typos, add info, etc. All was fine.

The last few posts I cannot edit ! I go thru the motions, but the edits wont 'save'

    Whassup ? THANKS

Thanks for posting Jon, as I have noticed the problem, and also suddenly when I want to send a PM it continues to scroll off the right side of the page beyond the borders.

What the hell did you do to already get on double-secret probation with the VOA and have privileges taken away?

I'll ask Web Driver, but we're not aware of any change in this regard Jon. Might be caused by some temporary website work or it may be local to your computer or ISP.

Just edited this post and all is well.

It's been working for me, no issues.

Not sure what browser you're on but IE 11 was just pushed and causing people issues with a variety of stuff.

I will say this, forums that don't allow posts to be edited have changed the way I post on them. I often post less and don't share as much. I am glad this forum does not prevent that like others..

Log off, clear cache and delete cookies, close browser, re-open browser, then log back on. Did that help?

I did as SlySnake suggested.....logoff, clear cash and cookies, close-re-open browser. No deal.
Even upgraded from AOL 9.1 to 9.6. No Deal.

    I can no longer:

    Reply with Quote; Edit Post ; Go Advanced;

I found it curiously coincidental that 2 "Vendors" cannot edit!

I was so frustrated that I made only my 2nd and 3rd post since 2011 on The Morgue...... and found that I cannot edit there, either!!! Must be something to do with the 'V-bulletin' forrum itself? Maybe Ill try Alley.

I sure hope one of you web guru geniuses can help fix this...I cannot risk looking like even a bigger idiot than at present.......

Im Gonna owe a favor-doo-dad to someone who FIXES this! Thanks

Ah, the doo-dad is going to get the job done.

There's definitely not anything on the settings side of the world. Definitely browser related. I checked with our webmaster, there's no issue there. I vote for Chrome too. It's faster than firefox or IE.

Basically I like Chrome as a general browser its fast and doesn't need the amount of updates that seems to plague Firefox... https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
