Gen V Rear View Power Plug in Location

    7/7

Thank you to those that posted info about the direct plug in location on the rear view mirror for hooking up my Escort. I would not have known but went out and in the bottom of the glove box was the wire tap -plug in a non descript plastic bag. I cut the wiring on my detector and spliced to this connector. However, I cannot find the plug in location on the mirror. Have been looking through the windshield, underneath up and looking all around.
Anyone that can help or provide a visual aid (pic!) it would be greatly appreciated. Can't believe I can build or modify about anything and this has me on the bench!
    Thanks if you can help,

Sincerely, Stumped on the mirror plug-in location

Thanks guys. Does it just pop off? Do not want to break tabs and have a rattley mirror back.

just pull the portion above the mirror towards you, no tabs to break at all.

That's a good place to power and mount a dash cam as well if you think you might want one.
