Why is it that when I check a post on my phone it doesn't show up marked as read on my PC and vice versa? Is this a setting I need to change or is this something that happens for everyone? I'm just using the web browser on my phone and haven't had this issue with other forums.

Mine is the same, for multiple forums that I frequent. I am unaware of a setting that can be changed.

vBulletin sets a cookie with a date stamp of your activity. The date stamp is device dependent, and is not shared within the account. I'll look into hackin' that once things have slowed down.
