Hey, all. I recently bought a 2014 Viper SRT that tragically doesn't match its options list. The window sticker lists the Dual Mode Suspension as an option, but it's not there. When I was test driving, neither the salesguy nor I could find the controls in a minute of looking around, so I gave up on looking for it, confident I'd figure it out later.
After some back and forth with Chrysler and the dealer, it seems what happened is that the factory should have issued a corrected window sticker for the car, but that sticker never got onto the car somehow.
I'm being given 2 options:
- take a check for the missing options
- take a full refund
My contact said (to my relief) that they would not condone a dealer installing the dual mode suspension components aftermarket.
What I'd really want is the car that I paid for, without having to pay more cash on top. The car is insane as is, but I want that dual mode suspension.
Is anyone familiar with relevant laws in Massachusetts, or able to point me to someone I could ask questions about?
Thanks!
