Monday, Oct 12th. Quite a way out. Better try to get in on the 11th.

And don't panic if all of a sudden the weather forecast calls for rain. The track in the rain is fun, not the fastest, but fun. You'll still be cornering faster than you've ever done on the street on a wet track. Actually, years ago, my first ever track event was in the rain. Lots of fun.

New Pirelli Corsas arrived. Any suggestions for a shop in Edmonton to mount and balance?

I've only ever used Kal Tire in Sherwood Park, but I wouldn't say they did an amazing job. I was just too lazy to shop around and the local dodge dealer refused to touch any viper tires. On another note, sounds like we have a few cars going to the White Oaks A&W again tomorrow night. I plan on being there around 7:30

In Kelowna I have used the local BMW shop as Kelowna Chrysler suggested them. They do a great job! Maybe check BMW in Edmonton?

I only trust wheels plus, a little more pricey than your average shop, they came out perfect.

I've always had good luck with Derrick Dodge on both my Vipers.

I doubt you'll be successful in finding Viper sized tires in stock anywhere. I have over 2 full sets in the garage right now, after I just put on new fronts today.

And for an extra 100 bucks track junkies will give you an instructor. The also make it easy for you, by putting cones everwhere you need to aim, just connect the dots, lol

I personally have never run with that group, but if I wasn't in my group, I would.
Thoughts on the Toyo R888's? They list the OE sizes for the viper and I have read guys stateside can get them..just curious if they are a viable option. Going aftermarket on the rims to the 19's front and rear would give the option of running the ACR spec khumo's...

I've heard from other forum posts that the r888 isn't that good of a tire, and most guys suggest going to the Khumo's

That was last years dates but still lots of dates left this year, August 19,20,26 September 5,23 and October 10. If any of those dates work for you just go to www.castrolraceway.com click on road coarse then on track junkies then register on the day you want. It's a great place to start if your new to the track and worth the money

Hey it was nice meeting you yesterday. I was in the Grey GTS. The stryker green on your car is such an amazing color. As for that track event, I believe that was from a post last year. Track Junkies still has a few events left this year and you can check them out here http://www.trackjunkies.ca/upcoming-...unkies-events/. I personally haven't been to a Track Junkies event so I'm not sure how many Vipers show up and what kind of coaching they give you. Maybe someone who has been before will chime in

Ya , nice meeting you guys too . I flew through an intersection on Sunday in Windermere and spotted a black gen 5 , not sure who's that was. Anyway , I soon realized when I went to the track junkies page I was off on the dates . Would be interesting to get a taste of the track scene and improve my skills none the less . If anyone wants to go for a quick evening cruise this week , let me know . Thanks.

Let us know how the track day goes. I haven't been to Track Junkies for a while, and it's looking like we don't have too many good weather days left.

I missed it. They emailed me back but they were sold out anyways. They have 2 more(?) sept 23 or oct 10.
I'll be away at work for both those. I think I'll have to wait until next year now.
