It dropped a valve while I was driving back from Orlando last weekend, right now the car is on the expert hands of Tony Sawyer, and we will be going through options later this week, i'll keep everyone posted.

Sorry to hear that, but now might be the time to go forged internals and get it ready for some boost and juice.

I was about 1 1/2 hours out, but Tony drove down there and picked the car and took it to his shop, Yes David I'm Very inclined to Add forged internals and some juice to the supercharger

Well when you finish the build you need to dump that current tag and go with a new one like ERAGON, the fire breahing dragon. I've seen your car shoot fire out the pipes and I can only imagine it will be even more with that supercharger and NOS.

Sorry to hear your motor has problems. Sounds like she's in good hands too. Good on Tony for getting your snake.

Ouch, sorry to hear your news Have you pulled the engine apart yet to see what caused it? Any other damage, (apart from you credit card getting hit)?

You should follow the RTTLSNK through a tunnel - a light AND sound show!

LOL, they checked and looks like the valve only "danced" on top of the piston w/o doing more damage, if this is truthen i'll just upgrade the valvetrqain so I can drive the car while the " other" engine is being built, also I have a Paxton( going with another route ) kit for a Gen 3 for sale, and a set of forgeline wheels. is anyone is interested.

Do they know what caused that valve to remain open?

It broke the valve spring, but looks like it didn't do damage to the piston or cylinder wall, if it's not bent, they'll just replace the springs and pushrods C.J.

    Hey Angel,
Glad to hear it wasn't too bad. Maybe we just pushed it too hard on the Dragon Sat.

Just a thought...would it make sense to have them swap out all valve springs while they are in there? If one spring failed, could more be on the verge of failing too?

Yeah, I'm just going to change pushrods and springs on this heads, so I can enjoy the rest of this summer, and then i'll have a full GG set ordered and built for the " other " engine, also a cam and then it will depend on if I'm able to sell the SC on time and get a TT kit, or if I can't i'll keep it SC and add some juice to the mix, rear end is already built for high HP and I would be adding a new clutch w flywheel too, able to handle the power( hopefully )
