So here you have it. 2015 stock base SRT vs 2015 Corvette Z06 A8 auto. Looks as tho the Vette indeed has some sort of heat soak issue. My Viper just kept getting beter as the day progressed.

Gen 5 seems to be consistent at 150 mph on the standing 1/2-mile. This is after multiple events by wannagofast.
