Trade Deal?????

would anyone do this deal if you were me? I have a 2002 FE gts with 3500 miles and a white 1996 rt/10 with just under 27000 miles. and i am considering a 2009 ACR with 7800 miles. would this be a good trade? should i get some money back? thoughts? acr is grey and black with a red stripe.

If you have your sights set on this 2009 ACR, then it sounds like a fair deal, all things considered equal mechanical/condition. Otherwise, after reading about and seeing the 2015 ACR in the Viper Quarterly I received the day before yesterday, sell both and add another 40k or so in cash and order the new one if feasible.

Prices are a bit up on the fe since I last looked, some are asking high figures and as yours is a low millage car it would be up there too I imagine. Which acr is it as I've been looking at a lot my self and have just decided to go for a voodoo in Canada. If it were me in your position I would probably be wanting money back on top or just trade one car and put a small bit of cash in on top.

i just looked at nada and it showed 55000 for the 02 and 35000 for the 96. it is the graphite with black and red trim stripe.

The one with all the stickers and race setup seat, harness and steering wheel? IMHO that car looks like it's been thrashed about a lot on track, the photos shoe all the stone chip peppering on the hood I'd expect form track use. There are some really nice ones available and for the same money or less as that one. The ssg advertised on this site is decent and one owner with good care and detail during his ownership. There is another voodoo on ebay that is on at 84 but I bet he will take less than 80 for and that super low miles. There is a black and red stripe hardcore edition in Naples the guy will take 77k on it 7k miles. And a nice red and black with full clear paint shield on ebay too which has some nice mods and I think he will take less than 80k for too.

Aside from the price discussions...would you be OK with letting go a gorgeous Gen 2 for a Gen 4? For me, that would be the most difficult part of the decision. Good luck with whatever you decide.

This has Usually been My train of thought! Say i had $100k to spend & i could get 2 Really Nice Cars for $50 each OR i could get 1 Really Really Nice one for $100k, i Would take the 2 Really Nice ones! jmo! GL!
