I like the Mocha color around the exhaust. Now you just need to use that Mocha color on the rims, rear twilight panel, fuel door and panels behind the windows. If it does high temp, then mocha the brake calipers as well.

I give you tons of credit. I just don't have the balls to do this myself. Does Plastidip just pressure wash off and the factory paint is perfect underneath? I don't have any experience with the stuff.
It holds up reasonably well to high temp but not enough that I would be comfortable doing calipers. I can peel it when I get tired of it and it preserves the factory finish under. It will hold up to pressure washes and crappy public car washes which makes it a huge bonus to clean since I drive this pretty much daily. Car had factory stripes when I got it (dark gunmetal), the elevation changes of the stripes show through the dip.

You can mix pretty much any color using the pearls, or you could just do a matte clear over your car if you like the color it came with and just want to protect it. Big caveat is that gloss is pretty hard to achieve and takes a lot of finesse - best bet for dipping if you're not a pro is a matte finish.

Gotta love the Dip. I've used this product on the wheels of my Honda S2000 and it came out great. I almost laughed out loud at the earlier comment about its use on the wheels of a Honda. Funny, but true. It really is a great product. So forgiving and easy to get professional looking results. Nice job!!!

Yea this is sprayed on, it comes in gallons and there is a specific sprayer sold by DYC that gives good results. Process was to clean the car, strip wax and contaminants, mask off large areas and vents, and lay it down wet. That is a gross oversimplification but dipyourcar has tons of youtube videos that go into incredible detail, I watched pretty much all of them. I chose to remove the body panels due to the unique body design of our car, it just wasn't realistic to try and get into all of the crevices and details while those parts were still on the vehicle.

Looks good, good luck with it, I am a Dip Your car dealer and don't feel the wearability is that great for a full car, did you do the door jams? Remove within 2 years or it will be permanent. Removal is tough.

My last car was dipped for a year and held up very well to pretty much everything, even drove it through winter salt and abuse. Tree sap was the one weakness I found as it would eat right through the dip. This is a sacrificial coating so if I get a year or more out of it I will be plenty happy.

Time shouldn't be an issue if you did enough coats and it was a quality job you did. Removal becomes a bitch when the installer cheaps out and doesn't do enough coats.

IFFFFF somebody would bill for this work, What would it cost?
A good wrap around here, runs about $3000-3500 for a Viper

    Looks amazing from the pictures

I'm hoping there is enough product on it, the car has 8 coats and the bumper and sills have 10.

If someone billed for this I am sure the quotes would range a bit but surely it would cost less than a wrap. I'm only about 4-500 in for materials and equipment but I spent several days between cleaning and removing/installing body panels. I think that the labor would be a pretty big cost factor.

I've dipped several sets of wheels. I've seen local ricer cars dipped and it looks like shit. You got this down... looks amazing.

FYI if you power wash with a 25 degree tip it comes right off. I do it on the wheels with no damage...I can strip a set of wheels in less than a minute. Not sure about paint, but I can't imagine it would hurt the paint. Does nothing bad to wheel clearcoat.

It is Plasti-Dip not paint. If he said he sprayed a coat of clear over top of the Plasti-Dip, then I must have missed that part. ??

This is a black dip base with clear dip on top, color was achieved by mixing in 150 grams of pearl powder into the clear. It has held up to washing and highway use pretty well, power sprayed it at a car wash a couple days ago and it cleaned up very quickly.
