Finally got rid of those ugly visor stickers:)

This is a very easy mod to complete, took maybe 10 Min. You will need a heat gun/Rubbing Alcohol/leather conditioner/leather protectant

    1) Begin by applying mild to hot heat to the surface of the sticker before removing, be careful of using to much heat as you could melt the visor. Start at the corner of the sticker and begin peeling it back. Work the heat gun in front of the area you are peeling back, as well as behind it too. This will keep the adhesive warm enough to safely pull back the sticker.

    2) Once removed, you will see a shadow where the sticker was. Clean the area lightly with rubbing alcohol, followed by leather conditioner, followed by leather protectant. Enjoy better looking visors!

I don't think I've really ever noticed mine enough to make me want to take them off. Nice job on the removal.

    Looks good.

You're probably one of those people that remove the tags off your mattress and box springs. You know the mattress police have a special division for sun visors.

I was always concerned about this. I'm surprised there's no trace of the shadow in the pic. The leather conditioner managed that? This is the GEN3/4 section, so your stickers must have been there for some time.

    Ugly Stickers

IMG_0296.jpg St.Char you motivated me to remove those ugly stickers. Still working on adhesive got 90% removed, placed stickers in trunk in case of the mattress police. There may be some fading going on due to U.V. effects leaving a outline, car is a 2009 w 8K miles can't be helped ?

    Step 1 - Remove stickers
Step 2 - Remove visor all together

Verts look much better w/out them (facts below):

Combo between the leather conditioner and protectant. As soon as you apply the leather conditioner the outline/shadow will fade away, just make sure you apply the conditioner all over the visor as well for it all to blend.

Mine is an '03, you should be fine. You'll see the outline until you apply the conditioner.

Welcome to being a defendant if the next owner wraps it around tree. I understand the idea of getting ridding of ugly stickers but there is risk and I have seen it first hand.

Mine are bugging me. Gen5 with Laguana Sepia interior though. Visors are kind of fuzzy like and I'm not sure how to work this. Anyone done this recently?

Just a thought, but you may want to post on the Gen V forum? Your visors/material are likely much different than Gen 11/IV's.
