    2014 White TA for sale

    SOLD...

So after the recent very laughable discussion of TA prices, I figured I would post my car for sale so maybe we can move the heat of off others. LOL

I just posted it for sale and waiting for the ad approval.

    http://driveviper.com/classifieds/ge...4-2014-ta.html

The car has 2200 miles on it. Garage queen never tracked or down the drag strip.

It has Belanger headers, corsa exhaust, Arrow PCM and underdrive pulley among a few other small cosmetic modifications.

Im asking 97K as it sits or 94K without the Headers, exhaust, PCM pulley and wheel spacers.

Let the comedy begin. Thanks guys.

What are new 2.0's going for these days?

Some guy just bought a Orange T/A in the low 80's. He's not allowed to show it to anybody. Plus it has the top secret build #. Don't tell anybody your build number and ruin it for the next guy. GLWS.

Clearly the white TA's are worth a LOT less than the Orange TA's which are only worth low 80s. That means your white TA is only worth low 50s. Because orange ones are much better. Because I said so.

Shit. I own a white TA. Therefore, I think they are worth MORE than orange TA's. Ask $150K instead.

You didn't post the build #. Are you trying to hide something? I need to know the number because, I definitely would not want one that has a number that is divisible by seven and has no fractional result. Also, numbers 13 and 22 are out.

I will say I asked a dealer/friend who has bought many of my cars (very good prices) what he would give me for my new GTS before it crapped out as I was curious how it will hold up in value down the road. With 5 miles on it he was willing to go 70k and not a dime more. He would obviously sell I for more as he is not doing it for free but I thought that was pretty low.

Those things are junk these days. Basically the ford pinto of modern day cars. That's why there are so many of them and no one buying them. You would have to pay me to take it off your hands.

--that's the general consensus these days right?

I love the TA. Perfect for people who don't want to go full aggressive track monster. I like the new ACR but if I were in the market (read: could currently afford) for a Gen V, I would go TA most likely. Take that white and wrap a center band and red driver stripe on it and you got sex on wheela. GLWS.

New TA 105,490 , TA 2.0 106,090 ( have a Black one incoming) . But just like Gonabite it is going to be only 48K without mods, plus a 58K down payment, ha,ha.

Priced well IMO. White/black is a beautiful combo on this car. Classy yet still has a bite. GLWS. Won't last long.

LOL I know a dealer who has a black one for about that price and more miles so Id say your asking price is about right.
Irony is the same dealer offered me 78K for mine... same miles and mods but a fully loaded GTS car... There is something fishy going on with our vehicle values, dealers (stealers) and the retail market. Seems that between the dealers and private sellers there is an average 15-20K discrepancy in values. Ive never seen a particular car so undervalued and depreciate so much.

Not trying to derail your thread OP! Beautiful car and GLWTS its worth every penny.

Thanks to everyone for the comedy and compliments.

It is a slap in the face to the guy who is told by the dealer that their car is only worth 80k only to find e dealer advertising it the next day for 93k. I understand the cost of doing business and the need to make a profit but 10-15k on one used car is a bit excessive IMO.

I can see it from both sides, being a consumer and now as a motorcycle dealer. When a dealer can buy cars for $10k and make $2k, they can buy eight cars for $80k and make about $16k on those eight cars. If they decide to put $80k into one car and make $13k, its actually a smaller return on their investment. I understand that some will say there is more work in selling 8 cars compared to one but its still the return on the money the dealer put out.

On an outright buy (not trade) a dealer is look to pay 10%-15% less than what he can retail a car for. If he can't gross 7% or better on his used cars he'll never make money.

In the example you noted, how many people are going to pay the $93 advertised price? More than likely sell at $88-$89, a 10% gross profit.

It's a business, don't take it personal with their offers.

Good luck on your sale, with those add's, a lot of car for the $$$.
