    Just ordered my new viper

All, just ordered my 2016 venom black TA 1.0 viper. My only question relates to the wheels. Got the hyper rather than matte after seeing Zybane's gorgeous 2.0...but I also like the matte. And matte will not show brake dust as much. Any thoughts?
Look forward to sharing some pics when the car arrives!!
I assume that SRT does a track day at VIR? Had a Ford GT at one time...put about 10K miles on it, much of it at VIR, before selling it.
Do not track as much as I did at one time but still anticipate going at least once per year.

Go with the Matte finish. You're correct - they don't show brake dust near as much but when you do polish them they look great.

We have the Matt Sidewinders on our GTS and after a quick trip anywhere of normal stopping we have brake dust showing to give a slight redish/brown look to the wheels. I personally think any black wheel shows brake dust very bad.

Ok, my beautiful black viper TA with matte wheels arrived last Monday. I'll post some pics later. Few questions for the forum. The TA comes with a car cover, but mine did not arrive with the car. So the dealer is looking into this. Was it supposed to arrive with the car? or later through Mopar? what does the cover look like?
Also, any good ideas on how to deal with the hot door sills other than avoid them? Ha. After some spirited driving today, I noticed that they were hot! Through a towel over them so I could get out in shorts without burning my legs.
    Thanks!

Congrats! Get rid of the cats if possible. Don't know if anyone has done it on a gen 5 but maybe someone came chime in on that.

You'll learn to get out really quick and/or swing your leg out real wide to stay away from it. My wife and son don't even complain about it any more they're so used to the hot sides.
