[EVENT] Saturday June 6th North Side Cruise and Lunch on Lake Conroe [EVENT]

    Hi Everyone,

getting our anual north side forst run and lunch on the lake put together. Since we made this drive recently during the Texas Viper Roundup I am going to add a few new turns for everyone to try and keep it somewhat fresh.

Also Papa's on the Lake is always a nice spot to complete our run, ample parking, easy and comfortable atmosphere for people to come and go as they please post drive. I will bring route maps incase anyone needs one.

    When: Saturday, June 6th

    Depart: 9am

    Where: Ransom’s Steakhouse & Saloon
    300 CB Stewart Drive
    Montgomery, TX 77356

We will run the National Forest through Richards, Anderson, and back around to Montgomery again. We will make an extended run of 3090 this time (great road from the round up) to get us some more miles on this great road.

I will have route maps available and I will try to get something out in digital form prior to the drive.

PLEASE fuel up before we depart Ransoms. I am anticipating the drive to take 1:30-1:45 minutes with a 15 minute cool down stop in the middle at either Anderson or another location, these are really small towns and don't always have adequate fueling stations (I think Anderson does, but just plan accordingly).

    Arrive Lunch: 11:00am

    Papa's On The Lake
    14632 TX-105
    Montgomery, TX 77356

We did, I bet we ended up having about 20 Vipers or so, Troy, Allen, Belinda, & Wayne drove up from the south side, we had a great group from the North side as well. Definitely had more cars than I was expecting, but it's always a great drive. My favorite road (3090) was closed for through traffic even though it was open last weekend. That was the only downer for me but we ended up hitting a new road or two on the way back to make up for it. Papas was great as always, easy in and out with no hassle.

My little girls even came up to say hi for lunch. I didn't get too many pics but here's one at our last stop before lunch. We had cars wrapping around the station. Great time!
