Great move and at least will put everything on a path that is best for the entire Viper Community. Had great dealings with both Don and Jon so it is in the right place and they will make it right for all of us.

As far as VCA versus VOA versus the Alley? Does it really matter? I mean really?

If VCA is absorbed into VOA, we would get some good people and some that it really would be best if they sold they Vipers and picked up another brand to play with. Best to just let it die. The Alley, well it helped to right things when it got bad. It is a major part of why we are here. It is like the White Edition and the Black Edition. There are room for both. No issue there.

VOA is on the right path. Still wondering why so many Enthusiasts with GEN Vs on the board so hopefully that can be corrected and people help out the club. If they did, maybe the club could also have a few more giveways. I mean Don could kick in a prize of both sides 96' RT/10 inner door Stanchion covers as mine are completely busted out. Hint! Hint!

I think he isn't because maybe the deal isn't quite finished yet and also, this isn't all purely good news in that it is kinda bittersweet. I am sure it comes with all kinds is hurtful memories. They tried to destroy him. And he has come out on top but he had to walk through hell to get there. They tried to destroy him. So he may not be in a huge hurry to remember all of that. Also, I think he is a lot classier than they are in that, he won't drag their "lifeless corpse" through the town square for everyone to spit on. If he makes an announcement I am sure it will be classy and well written and talk about his availability to have more parts for the community and such. He won't gloat over their demise. At least that is what I see happening. I can't say how happy I am for him. He was such a friend to me through all that I went through and he deserves the respect he has earned.

Here is my first official forum comment on the above:

    IT'S TRUE !!!!

PartsRack has indeed purchased the assets of VPA effective 5/11/15, in conjunction with Don Scharf Automotive. This 'parts-partnership' has quietly done the same type of shared campaigns with SRT, Arrow, ASC, and more. The VPA has ceased operations, and their warehouse in KS is now empty. 5 semi-loads of parts departed KS last week and this week, to WI, and should be unpacked and sorted for sale by June 10.

Patience Please! I am 'buried' with the cutover of emails and web-store orders and inquiries to both PartsRack and VPA. Quite a few folks placed a flurry orders in the last days of VPA, ASSuming that the inventory availability or prices might change. In fact, if it WAS there, its still available!

Thanks for the many kind and insightful comments above, especially those that recognize my Viper passions/obsessions that drove me into this business in the first place: All Vipers, All Day!

Kind of amusing, ain't it, that it turned out this way? Granger, you had me rolling a couple times. Others too. "Thank You for Your Support."

Exactly what I expected to hear from Jon. Totally classy and positive. I believe the fact that he can stay above the negativity that many people would drop to really speaks to his character.

Congratulations Jon. I am honored to call you a friend and can't wait for you to get all settled with everything so these parts may begin getting out to the community. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
