Where to get light bulbs for the RT/10 third brake light (aka the light bar)

Whats up guys... I have a bulb out on the light bar and can't seem to find a match at the parts store. The only marking on the bulbs are "GF 89180" ...I'm pretty sure thats what it says but its blurry and faded so its a little hard to tell. Doing some research on the various forums, it seems that nobody really has a part number for them but people have had luck finding the bulbs in random stores. So does anybody have a bulb number for these? They're very tiny (jelly bean size) and I couldn't find another bulb with the two prongs sticking out of the bottom. ..Thanks in advance!

What distance apart are the prongs? That will help narrow down the base size/designation...they look very similar to a 12V landscape lighting type bulb.

Well, I would say that you should email JonB at Parts Rack. If anyone knows and has the correct replacement he would. Unless you get a knowlegeable answer otherwise, here, you will have to guess wattage and order what you think is closest from Digikey or Grainger or such. I would bet that it was marked GE, not GF as GE makes that style miniature two pin incandescent bulb. I searched on the numbers you gave but didn't find a reference to them.

All the bulbs are usually listed in the owner's manual. 2000 lists 891...

Kind of looks to me like the GE 8901 listing in the older manuals is a misprint since that bulb type does not show up in a google search; but, there are multiple hits and availability of GE 891 ( actually listed as GE 891 BP which kind of matches the OP's reading of the faded marking on the bulb. )

Also, there appears to be multiple manufacturers of the 891 bulb.

You guys made quick work of this thread... Thanks everybody! The part number is in fact 891, rather than 8901. I think it may indeed be a misprint, Jim. If anybody is looking for these, I just got some at NAPA and the part number is "LMP 891". They look a bit different than the originals, but the replacement fit and works well. Thanks again for the quick help!
