Cars not even released yet..and the ACR posing starts. LOL
I think a T/A the ACR rear diffuser will look MEAN.
What would the rear diffuser do to the top speed?
The removable hood louvers and reduced air pressure is an interesting addition. It looks like this is more of a ViperExchange/Riley development. The GTS-R's that ran in the 2014 Tudor did not have these vents. Also the GT3-R for sale on the driversrt website does not have these. Looks to be more recent with the TI cars...either way, it looks like Dodge is getting R&D from all programs to make this a true race beast!
Yea, that's it, the pads! They must have been driving hard because a z28 is a good 300lbs more than a c7z.
this is just what I remember reading at CF.
I wonder how much carbon rotors weigh, if I was a hard core track guy on a budget I would settle for two piece rotors, better pads and better fluid swap.
Carbon rotors weigh about 30% less than steel. Allan
With the suspension giving 3" of height adjustment, you could set it high for street so the aero parts don't scrape of bang, and drop her for track duty. I'd bet if you did the splitter etc and didn't do an adjustable suspension ride height you'd be hating life quickly on some streets.
Just to remind everyone that carbon ceramic brakes were discussed in development for the Gen V, but SRT was able to achieve their performance goals with steel brakes. To get the same performance out of carbon ceramic brakes, an increase in wheel diameter was necessary, negating the weight saving from the rotor.
Naturally, I was looking for the article to reference, but I can't find it. All the same, that explains the 19-inch front wheel. I can't wait to see the numbers from this car.
I want remove-able hood vents.. bad ass!!
If the past is any indication of how Mopar will price the ACR parts you might be better off buying the whole car!
Wont those vents over the front tires get water every where?
Interesting, nobody has mentioned what I think will turn into the most purchased item, the tires, we have been given another non-Pirelli tire option with these new Khumo's . After collecting nails in two back tires in non-fixable places and while I do appreciate the low prices offered the club through the end of the year, another tire option would be great. These must be very sticky to be selected as the OEM option on the ACR. Just hope they make an 18" option for the front for the rest of us.

For the question about CCM rotor weight, The CCM rotor in the press photo shows MIN. WEIGHT 5966g ...DG016_063VP1ugjuudffl6f5um2o4dcdn01j0.jpg
