    WTB: MGW Interior Trim Pieces

Looking for those elusive satin billet MGW interior trim pieces. Let me know what you have or let me know what you bought yours for (PM if you prefer) so I can gauge what to pay for them.

    Thanks!

Found a set local to me on Craigslist. They should be going in the mail tomorrow. I'll post pics when I get them installed.

Very rare. fWIW, I wanted satin but took chrome as a consolation. Turned out I liked them way more than I thought. So if you can only get chrome, go for it. You won't regret it. Much better than nothing. And I was originally opposed to the idea of chrome. So, if that helps anyone out there.

Agree with viprbite on this one, I was pretty bummed that all I could find was Chrome, till I installed them(gauge rings+hvac), but matched really well with the mgw satin cup holder and shifter trim ring, as well the mgw gripper is Chrome/satin.

    Thanks RedX.

Yours look good with the satin and chrome. It doesn't clash or look out of place.

I'm sure I would have been happy with satin like I originally wanted but once I had the chrome, I realized they look great and maybe that's what I should have been looking for all along. The chrome isn't overly "blingy" for those that are worried about that. I'm not saying not to have a preference, but just don't be upset if you can only get your hands on the opposite finish that you wanted. You won't regret either. Just be happy you can get your hands on them at all. And they will look killer, regardless of finish.

Redx those look great. I like the shift/brake boots too. I want to do something very similar.

I don't think the guy I bought them from knows what he had. Thanks for the advice to jump on them so quickly Redx!

Got them in the mail yesterday and put them on last night. I think I got real lucky finding these so quickly, and cheap! Even got the radio knob, although I have an aftermarket stereo so no need for it at the moment.

Just snapped a quick photo with my phone:

Is it the lighting that makes them look white on the gauges? I honestly thought these things wouldn't look too bad painted.

The satin stuff is harder to find. Seems there is more of the chrome.

The gauge rings that came with my car are coated/painted in an off-white satin'ish color.

Yea that is what I have found as well. Plus I got them way cheaper than what that site sells them for.

At 3-4 times the price of what mgw charged. They bought the remaining mgw inventory, but when I called they didn't have much left.

Well, I think it's just free market and supply is short. But geeze they don't have to be a dick about it. I understand running a business but I would think it would be better to sell them at a reasonable price and encourage repeat customers. Or sell them cheaper with purchase of another item as a chance to better show their great customer service.

Bottom line...it sucks what happened to MGW and ZeroAltitudeFlight that chrysler just priced them out of business. Barely even let them sell current inventory.

I think they would but it was just too expensive. Even for non logo'd items. If it was specifically to fit a Viper (even just an AC knob) then they had to pay some crazy licensing fee that just made it cost prohibitive.

I am pretty sure they are still making cool stuff for mustangs, Vettes, and Camaros and such.

I don't believe the license stuff one bit.
License fee to make non logo trim rings and bezels? Come on now.

I know and agree it's unfair, but i had heard that from another company before everyone found out MGW was out of the Viper game. Sucks. They make great stuff.
