What a day that must have been. I feel like I'm one of the few that hasn't been to CAAP or PREFIX. Thanks for the pics.

    3 things:

-that purple looks incredible. Do the pics do it justice?

-the pic right before the purple has a body in 2 colors of primer, any idea for the different colors?

-in the plant pics there are a few shots of different colored body panels, I.e. driverside rocker and passenger rear quarter panel. Is the blue in fact Ceramic Blue? There are a couple more but you need to look closely.

    Thanks,

    Tim

The purple is absolutely amazing. That car is going to look beautiful.

I think the primered Viper is going to be black with pink stripes

That blue is like a battleship blue/gray.

Ceramic Blue is going to look good on the Viper. That is the gray/blue color you saw.

I really like seeing the Prefix photos, what other cars can claim being hand striped and painted?

Can't say. There were other "secret" projects going on at Prefix and Arrow that we were asked not to photograph or talk about. But.... Amazeballs i tell you what.

Cool! Did Minotaur have Viper engine in it? Did you ask them if they would produce a limited run of Viper street trucks again? Honestly, this is probably where the Viper will live on if Dodge discontinues it in the future. I wish I would have seen Prefix Performance when I was at NVE1 but they just announced they were going in that direction but had not finalized it at that time. Pete I vote we change avatar rules to include yours from VTCOA. Ha! Ha!

How did you get to tour the plant? I called and tried to get in while I'll be up in Michigan July 2-6, but they are closed for their summer shutdown during that time

Maybe I can still tour Arrow and/or Prefix. Any recommendations on how to get in those places?

Exactly! This is what caught my attention too. I hope we hear more on the 9.0 and 10.0 engines soon. I wonder if Chrysler is rethinking the whole FI thing and considering staying NA??? Definitely an easy way to get more ponies... increase displacement.

They would have to run cylinder deactivation to hit CAFE targets. They should also go flat plane crank while they are at it. Make it sound like a Carrera GT and they won't be able to build them fast enough.

Imagine the media coverage if the Gen VI came out with a 9.0+ Liter 700+ HP NA motor. What. A. Monster.

    One can dream...

This would be awesome. I try not to be debbie downer but i have to wonder how many years we have left for our big NA V10. I love the fact that we are NA. I really hope they can find a way to keep it.

Geez Peter, wish you could have taken just a few more pictures, ha! Cool to see some recent updates, even for those that have been to the Plant before, and Prefix is an amazing stop too!

Just thanks from another appreciative Snakecharmer.
