    Underhood decal wanted

    Hi All

I've had my 06 First edition coupe for 2 weeks and loving it. A few jobs needed to bring it up to show condition ( new foglight and front fascia repaint due to stone chips are the main 2 )

Can anyone tell me where to get the decal shown in the sample photo below, as mine is half missing. It's the one saying 'positive ......' with a white arrow. I tried a few online catalogues but no joy so far

Also can I obtain a copy of my original window sticker? I've tried a few online searches but they all state that mine is not available

    thanks from the UK
    Paul

The decal on the fuse cover? It might be easier to try and source the cover itself...I'd try some Viper salvage yards first and go from there. Finding one from a wreck that isn't scratched all to hell might take some doing, but probably easier than finding the decal.

You might also try Jon B at Parts Rack - he seems to be able to locate hard to find things a little better than most (this is the understatement of the century if you've ever dealt with him).

Can't remember which site but something like mopar parts online might have it, it will have a Dodge P/N you may need to search the diagrams or by decal or something. Once you know the part number JonB can probably get it.

I just got my new sun visors in the mail for my Gen3 convertible (the old ones had some small tears in them) and they came with the warning decals on them. I'm not sure if the fuse cover is the same way.

Thanks guys, I've emailed a Viper salvage yard to see if they can help. No reply yet, so if anyone knows the part number for the fuse box cover I'd appreciate it. I don't think the decal is a separate item but I could be wrong

Can you give a good picture and size to one of those vinyl decal shops? They usually have a computer program that can print a decal from a picture. Could be a lot cheaper and no one would ever know it is not OEM.

Unless you are a hard-core "original state" kind of guy, why not do as I did and simply remove it?
Do Viper owners really need an arrow pointing to the red positive charging post?
Kind of condisending if you ask me.
Why not put a large sticker FUSE BOX on that cover too?
Why not an arrow pointing to the oil fill?
Put a Down Arrow and SPARK PLUGS sticker on the valve covers pointing towards the plugs. - LOL

Look for Pattymelt, he reproduces the window sticker, I have bought for more than one car, perfect

I can reproduce the sticker for you off one of our cars, but the cost would be around $160 plus shipping.
A one off requires all the same work as 10,000 run of the same decals, sorry.

If it were me, I would remove the decal with a heat gun and a little patience.

Lots of good advice to consider. For starters I'll remove the remaining writing so it looks ok, and wait until someone emails me back. I don't know if its because I'm UK based, but its very difficult and frustrating getting replies from dealers in the US. I've sent messages to this company http://www.x2builders.com/gallery.as...ipers+for+sale and another company to see exactly what P/N 05114019AB looks like

In the meantime can someone take a close-up photo, so that I might be able to get a decal made up locally.

Thanks sssammm, re the window sticker, I'll chase that lead up.

Just to close the thread, I've managed to find the part number for the fusebox cover (68027689AA) and they are only $15 so I'll be ordering one with more parts when I get my list sorted out

Thanks for the PM's and info regarding window sticker and decals.
