Anybody have this "oem" stereo in their car?

Saw this on another forum from 3-4years ago. Just wondering if they are complete garbage or not. Looking for a stock looking set up with Bluetooth for music.

A lot of the feedback on the other forums over the years is "garbage"

I have one I used in my 08 and it worked perfect. I can't use it in my gen5. You will have to trim about and 1/8" off the factory radio dash to get it to slide in. I'll sell for half that.

Yeah I have this one as well. Honestly I think it is the way to go. It only takes a little trimming like Victxv0 said, and it fits just like OEM. It is the ONLY aftermarket radio that will fit and look half decent without serious modding to the face of your dash. That being said it isnt the greatest system. The touchscreen is a resistive touch screen that isn't super sensative, and the various menus are a bit odd and slow. Another down side is that all of the buttons shine EXTREMELY bright green at night. It is almost distracting, and does not match any of the OEM lighting in the car. I just spent about 2 hours replacing all of the LEDs in it. They are all VERY small SMD LEDs that are not very easy to replace if you arent skilled with soldering. If you have any questions about it, don't hesitate to send me a pm
