10W30 fully synthetic is what it says on mine and advanced synthetic on my 0W40

You can use either of these weights in the Gen 1 or 2. Many like using the newer 0W40.
I still use the old 10W30 just because that's what the car was built with originally, but may switch over to the 0W40 after all my 10W30 is used up. Since some of my other cars use the 0W40.

0W40 will be just fine. That's what I'm going to run after I use up all my 10W30.

K&N are good air filters. I have used them in many cars.

now it guess I need to find some. The O'Reilly's near me said that the closest store that had them was in MN. Gonna have to try somewhere else.

Morning Everybody - I'd like to drop in and get the oil changed, looks like our trip to Colorado is a wash out - too much Rain in the forecast.

    I'll bring oil & a filter - where is everybody gonna meet ? - I don't know the address.

    Thanx!

    Kenny.

I think I will hit Hastings - If everything goes right on the Sprint car ( Got a long time friend that races in Knoxville every Saturday - our luck hasn't been so hot the last 3-races last year & the first 3-races this year - LOTS of Blown-up Engines & a rear end ) but If we get everything just right for this weekend - I should be able to make it to Hastings.

I took of my rims yesterday & cleaned 'em - found a really weird looking front left tire - shot….soooo I'm seeing if my buddy Scott can flip some tires around for me Friday or Saturday.

I'm not gonna make it either but I would have really like to come over and meet everyone. Our guests from the graduation party yesterday decided to hang around well past the 6pm end of the party which was cool. But left us with today to get everything cleaned up and put away. We'll take the Viper out for a cruise around the lake later this evening though.

Would like to Thank Greg and Michele for hosting the First annual Venom Extraction party (oil change day). We had a great turnout and the event went very smooth with lots of gaukers stopping by to see the snakes drinking up some fresh Mobil 1. Look for pics soon.

I would be VERY interested in this, I bet my air filters should be checked and may need to be changed.
