My friend in a 98 GTS with a Paxton ran a 160.25 mph. Beautiful place on top of a mountain. Temps were 54-65 over the weekend. Had quite a bit of wind on the mountain also. Lot of fun.
You're probably losing about 10mph traps with the TA 2.0 Wing. That's why I run no aero

I personally did not run my TA 2.0. The TA I am talking about had the aero spoiler, not the wing like my 2.0. I still wonder if the high altitude had something to do with his run. I heard a few people there were tuning for the altitude.

I run the timing system for wannagofast, and here my observations with the Virginia event. We were at 3k' with a DA of around 6k'. That said, we had several cars that have run multiple wannagofast events and at 150mph, most cars were 5mph slower that they would be at sea level. At 200mph, cars were around 6-10mph slower than sea level. As for the 14' TA that was running on Sunday, he did a best of 146 I believe. For comparison, I ran a 150 a few months ago at sea level. My old car was actually there and he had two runs at 154mph which was 4mph slower than the best I ever did in the 1/2 he is running the same setup. My old car also has a ACR wing and believe me or not, the fastest I ever ran was with the wing on. I'm sure aero has some effects, but in a straight line up to 160, it's not much.

Pics from Wanna Go Fast VA

Those Lambos were FAST and beautiful. I must have missed the 146 on the black TA, I left mid afternoon Sunday. I spoke to him Saturday and he mentioned he was getting a consistent 143-44, great if he did pick it up on Sunday.

Was your old car the 06 red/white VCA with the wing?

Are you running the may or September event? We will have myself and two twin turbo gen 2 cars (as well as a few other cars) at the September event.

Yep, that was mine. He had at least 10 passes down the runway on sunday. That car was so much fun. Paxton car and still holding the stock clutch with 28K miles. He drove it 3 hours to the event, raced it all day, and drove it home.

Mamba, is your SRT fixed? I hope you 153. I'll have my 14' there and we will definetly get a race in.
