    94 dash gauge bezels

I am in the process of redoing the finish on my dash. My question is this. Are the black gauge bezels molded into the dash or is there a way to take them out to refinish the dash. Thanks.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. I guess the best way to do it is to spray the entire dash and then hand paint the bezels flat black. I have seen some dash with carbon fiber and the bezels looks nice and clean. Just wondering how they did it. I tries masking and painters tape. Just won't stick good enough. Thanks anyway.

I'd bet that when those parts were new, they were sprayed with some sort of stencil. I realize that's probably of little help...

Don, the dash is entirely gray plastic, the black is paint and well, you know the gray "rubber" part.

Masking is a real pain. I'm happy with the finish I created on the bezels. Black satin from a rattle can then polished with 0000 steel wool. Just DON'T polish through the paint.
