Talking to RPM now about a built trans with a G4 1/2nd gear, but the car won't see a drag strip with the factory clutch in it again.

Will let me check out the BBG triple at a local meet. Great pedal feel, but with the clutch depressed, it sounded like marbles clattering all over the place. It would be annoying/embarassing for a street car just driving around town. If it wasn't for the noise, it would be a great clutch.

Do it! 200 is a nice an easy shot. Only 20hp per cylinder!

Does it use straps? NVH is a big deal to me, so I wouldn't want to run it either.

FWIW (not much), I had an RPS Carbon/Carbon twin in my old Camaro, and even without straps, it made hardly any noise. I don't think they offer anything for the Gen 4/5 Viper crowd though...

    like Tilton?

    sounds ok to me.

did the stock computer flip out with fake knock?

The BBG is a stand mount clutch. It serves a purpose as a race clutch, but for my street car its just too noisy. Its 3-4x as noisy as any Tilton triple I've owned.

this is in no way trashing Toddy or the clutch, I just underestimated the noise and what I was willing to deal with.
