I think I am about to make a change and buy a Gen V.

I have a couple of quick questions, and I was hoping I could hear from real owners, not the stealership, so please forgive my viper ignorance.


1.) What Trim? It is amazingly hard to find what is the additions in equipment between the base, GT, and GTS on the (terrible) SRT website. Is there a good break down anywhere where I can see exactly what is the difference between trims?

2.) Is there any "must have" options I should be looking out for? (For Example, on the C7 Corvette Z51's you don't get the Performance traction management system unless you have the Mag Ride suspension. So the Mag Ride option is a "must have" that is often left off the car, that has a huge impact on the car's performance)

3.) Price; is there anywhere where I can find reliable Invoice pricing on the cars and options?

4.) Dealer, I am in Dallas, but would buy from any dealer in the country if they can give me the best deal, are there any Viper dealers known for this like there is in the Vette world?


Any and all other advice for a first time Viper buyer is welcomed.
