    Tow hook/strap

I need to get a tow hook or strap installed for track days. I am not fond of the one that sticks out to nail my shins. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Woodhouse tow straps. Easy to tuck away when not in use.

If he doesn't have any left I know there are still a few out there.

    Bruce,

Are they the strap? If so, what $ do you want for one of them?

Ipsco.org has re-moveable front tow hooks that can be removed when not at the track, takes less than a minute to put in/out. Two versions are available, Long version or SCCA version.

Our IPS 2pc front removable SCCA Version does NOT stick out, and was designed with the ACR-X in mind. Fits Gen 3-4.

For Gen 5 the fascia has to come off one time.

Some street-folks fear the strap-version which must be secured well so it does not come loose and flail away at the fascia

I have the IPSCO SSCA version from JonB and it is barely noticeable, doesn't stick out. I leave it on although it is easy to remove.

That's sweet. Did you already ship the strap to me? If not, I'll take one of those. How do I tie the strap down so it doesn't slap the crap out of the front fascia?

Strap should be there tomorrow, so yes it was sent. Most people tuck the strap back over the top of the hook and wedge it between the hook bolt and the upper opening of the fascia. It fits snug and I have not had one come out once tucked in there.
