There has been quite a bit of interest in the Gen IV / V intake heat shield. The design is finalized and I’m ready to begin production and would like to kick things off with a group buy. This will serve to lower the price for everyone and also help fund the production.

In addition to the lower price for group purchase, if you elect to pay early there will be an additional discount (see below).

Estimated Timeline (subject to delays beyond my control):

Production Begins (based on commitment quantity): April 22
Deadline to prepay for additional discounted price: May 22

The shield is aluminum construction with a high quality black ceramic coating and weighs less than 4 lbs. Custom black anodized aluminum thumb screws will be included for the attachment of the shield / airbox along with stainless steel hardware for connecting the two shields.

No the Gen IV catch can bracket does not work because it mounts to the crossmember and the Gen IV is rectangular while the Gen V is round. Could definitely look into this but need a Gen V owner's help.

Preordered the shield (standard shipping) - the links did not work in Chrome, but did work in IE (FYI).

Gotta figure this out, I'm using chrome so not sure what's going on. The entire link doesn't work or just the PayPal link?


Edit - you have to click on the image for PayPal, not the text. I've seen the image not show up but the link still works if you click on the box. Anyway I'll look into it tomorrow. Not sure if this helps or not.
