Thanks for this! I'll be using it shortly for removal and re-install of my stock coilovers when putting on lowering caps.
^^^ X2. Thanks!
I thought about switching the direction of the bolt on the front AFTER I had it put all back together. That is a good idea though to make life easier down the road!
You don't have to remove the swaybar link on the bottom, you can "gently" pry it out of the way and remove the bolt. I reinstalled this bolt on the bottom with the nut facing the swaybar link.
Nice of you to do this. Hello MODS !!! Is there a place to be archiving-sticky-noting helpful FYIs like this?
his post will stay in the how-to's which is basically an archive
Use the Report a post feature... It works!
Bump so I can find this easier
I understand why you did it, and it doesn't bother me at all but you can save the links to your favorites.
Call me Fred Flintstone but navigating this site is less than desirable when I'm on my smart phone. This was honestly why I bumped these threads to begin with. Right now I'm on my PC at work (sshhhh) but generally I'm on my Droid, not sure if anyone else has this problem but every time on on my phone I cannot search, it also won't allow me to go outside of the lead page no matter what section of the forums I'm in. For example, if I'm in the GenIII/GenIV section and at the bottom of the page there are 20 pages, I get an error message when I try to access those pages. When I'm at my buddy's shop I generally use my phone to get on the forum to look up information. Now that I've explained myself I hope nobody else is offended by me using the VOA forum for help.... that is what it's about right?
Just put the coilovers on yesterday, realized I did the preload wrong, readjusted today
