Will Gen II wheels clear Gen V brakes and mount on the vehicle?

Have a friend wanting to get some track tires and has found a set of gen II wheels. He asked me if i thought they would mount directly onto the car. I wasnt sure so figured i would ask here for him

There have been several similar threads. I mounted rear wheels from a late G2 on my G5, however, I had to use spacers to clear the caliper. there are some 18" aftermarket wheels that do clear the brakes without spacers. You should PM Nineball, he has the wheel answers
