    My 92 has finally arrived!

After searching for the last few years to find the "right" 92 and a few disappointments along the way, I just took delivery of my very own 92! Very excited to say the least. There is something very special about owning one of the first Vipers and the car that started it all. Absolutely amazing! Haven't even had a chance to look at the car yet, as it was taken off the truck and placed into my garage with me having to leave for work within 5 minutes thereafter. Damn work always spoiling the fun!

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to Andy (FLATOUT) for helping me out with my quest and also Jason Tiff (not sure if he is a member here or not, but he is a fellow enthusiast who also has a bad ass Viper). The Viper community is a great one and because of that I now have a 92 in the garage. Thanks guys!

That's great. What a feeling that must be.

    What number is it?

Hope to see it out there this year.

Man I'm so excited that worked out for you! Can't wait to hear how everything checks out. I just drove mine for about an hour and I just love driving it.

More than happy to help with any maintenance questions you have.

Thanks for all the kinds words everyone. I am very excited about this car as I remember when I first saw this thing as a pimply teenager who could barely afford a pack of gum let alone a Viper. Wanted a 92 ever since. Can't wait to detail this thing and make it mine! More pics to follow.

Thanks Andy! And a sincere thank you for helping me with this project. As you might know, being in MA and buying a car in TX is not that easy. I'm happy it worked out and I was able to get the car. Something about the 92 that feels so special. Just sitting in the car gave me goose bumps. Can't wait to start driving this thing. I'm sure I'll be reaching out to you again regarding maintenance seeing as how you just went through all of it restoring yours.

    Thanks again!
    Chris

I wish the GN was an "X". Nope. Just a hardtop GN with 16K miles on the clock. I have been looking for a GNX as well, but have not been able to find the "right" one. Oddly enough, there is one if those in TX that I am considering. What is it with TX??? That state has all the nice cars!

That's very true and very funny. How ironic! That is always the way. I once scanned the globe and travelled everywhere for a Cobra R, only to find the one that I bought right in my back yard, only about 9 miles from my house. I traveled and searched everywhere for that car too. There is no rhyme or reason as to how these damn things pop up and where. I/m sure now that I bought one, there will be another for sale near me somewhere. Go figure...

    My car is # 104.
