    Pirelli Tires

Anyone use this setup on a gen2 GTS 295/30/18 fronts and 355/30/19 rears? Any rubbing issues?

I got my tires on Monday, going to get them on in the next couple of days. I will let you know, unless someone else already has some input?

I have H-spokes on the car and that is what the tires will be going on. just FYI

I also just picked up a set I'm going to put on my Gen II. I have been told there are not rubbing issues but I haven't had a chance to get the tires mounted yet. I hope they're right or I may have some new Sidewider II's with PZeros for sale.

You are going to have to post some pics. That is going to look really good on your car!

    Same question.

    I have a 1996 RT/10 with 2004 wheels on it.

The current front tires are 285 35 ZR 18 and the rear tires are P345 30 ZR 19.

    I'll follow this thread.

    Another question.

What are the typical costs of getting the tires mounted once you receive them?

It'll vary by area.... but in Miami, I pay $30 per tire, mounted, indexed and road force balanced. I don't waste money on Nitro filling tires.

Here's my comparisons from Discount Tires' website.

If your current sizes are different from mine, here's the link to the calculator:

Jon B at parts rack says you wont have any rubbing issues. I just bought a set for my gen 2 from him.

Are you guys happy with how the new tires fit a Gen 2? I was going to order some for my 97. Anyone have pictures?

I hope to find time to get my PZeros mounted on Sidewinder's II this week and get them on my 2002 this coming weekend. If so I'll snap some pictures.

well, I had three of the tires installed! There was a mishap with one of the front tires. Pirelli was easy to work with and fast. Now if it will stop raining long enough, I will get the last tire installed.

Driving it back to storage, there was no rubbing and no issues.

I think it looks better, less sidewall stretch. Ride is much better and much less road noise!

I'm lowered quite a bit running 295s in front with 345s in rear. Haven't had any rubbing issues except the Porsche air deflectors. Even then only a little bit.

Tires, all of them, are on the car. I don't have any pics yet. Keep in mind I had old crappy tires on prior. Night and Day difference. So many adjective to describe it, all for the better!

If I figure out how to post pics, I will get them up...as soon as I take some.
