    white SRT exterior mods

Over the last couple weeks, I gave my 14' SRT some love. I tinted the windows at 25%, painted the tail light surround black and painted the valve covers OEM white. It turned out pretty good. I have a little over $500 into it, but it looks so much better. I might do lowering caps and spacers down the road, but who knows. As for performance mods, nothing yet as I'm enjoying my warrantee but she will eventually be running bolt-ons plus nitrous.

Looks great. I wouldn't have thought the white covers would've looked that good, but wow, that's great, nice job!

We have done a ton of color matched coil covers I think they are the coolest mod for the $$$

Not sure why, but this really looks good on the white cars.

Very nice! The tail light surround looks so much better painted black on the Gen V.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I also wanted to add that I pulled off the tail light piece with a little help from JackB's post here: http://driveviper.com/forums/threads...Light-Surround

It only takes 20 minutes or so to remove it and about the same to put it back on.

As for the coil/valve covers, I did not need to remove or loosen the x-brace. just pull straight up to pop them out and gently work them forward. Nothing to it.

There was a white viper at the VP Experience in Las Vegas. It had white stripes down the back & looked bad ass. 20150330_093032.jpg

Do you use a high temp paint on coil covers or regular paint is fine?
