Nasty "Viper T-Boned by Porsche" Race on CBS Sports Sunday 4/5

Pirelli World Challenge, at 5PM ET Sunday (Ch 221 on Direct TV) "Grand Prix of St. Petersburg"

Viper racer Dan Knox very early in race (2nd or 3rd lap?) has incidental contact with a Mercedes. both spin.
Track partially blocked, YELLOW Flags out for a full-course yellow.

A block of Porsches racing in their mirrors, and not paying attention to flags, T-BONES Dan's Viper big time, ruining a lot of valuable race cars. Thankfully no injuries, but big expense to Dan.

Remember the feeling when Ben K # 33 was in fire at Sebring last year? I was shouting at the TV: "Get Out Ben, Get Out!" and that unfortunate low-light has been a Tudor Series TV highlight ever since.

This one may be worth a look at how NOT to ignore Yellow Flags in a pro-race series. Better luck to Dan next race.....

What a shame but super glad no one was hurt.

It looked like complete disregard for the yellow flags. Does the old adage comparing porcupines to Porsches apply to race cars as well?

Still glad to see the people are ok but some expensive race cars are gonna need some love.
