I purchased lowering caps and I'd like to install them myself. Some people say you need to remove the shocks and others say you don't. Can someone outline how they are installed....I don't want to screw anything up! Thanks for the help.

Much easier IMO to remove them. You have to remove the rear fender liners on a GTS or TA if you want to remove the shocks (to unbolt canister).
Easier to remove the front. Easier to leave the rears on.![]()

May depend on your spring compressor as well. One of mine wouldn't fit.
TA springs are shorter in free length than the SRT/GTS springs so they are easier to swap out although once in the TA rear springs can hang free with no preload. The SRT/GTS springs will still have preload to deal with so just easier to do with shocks out of the car.
