They had it for four days before they could "duplicate" the event and that happened while three of the service staff were standing around the car arguing about who was going to call me to tell me they couldn't duplicate it ....and then the door opened. (I was confused why there was so much deliberation. The outside door handle did not work, either, which was enough of a failure in my opinion to replace the switch.) A couple of days of talking with HQ and I was informed that the incident was going to be the subject of a Technical Service Bulletin, which is what I assume Mark is referencing. For the record, it never happened while the car was moving at any speed. Anyway, new switch, new battery, and now with 6,000 miles and seven track days on the car, all seems to be well. Although I am getting a very odd CEL and limp-home mode when I take Turn 1 and 2 at Big Willow. It it immediately correctable after I turn off the car and restart after ten seconds. I'm thinking it has something to do with running all the computers off. Maybe Mark knows something about that.
