ACR takes First place Dutch Time Attack Series.

A couple of years back I have participated in the Dutch Time Attack. The first edition with a dedicated trackdaycar BMW M3 e36, which I won in my class (semi pro street).
The next year with my '94 Viper RT/10, 3th place (pro street).
A year later I won with the RT/10 (pro street).

And now, with only 2 test day with the for me new ACR, I was the fastest of the day. Winner in the extreme class.
    Man, this car is good.

Awesome job Heysie! Did you have to make any adjustments to your ACR prior to race day?

+1 on Bill's comment about the paint scheme -- very distinctive. Did you repaint or is it a wrap?

    Thanks guys.

C.J. Yes, I bought new tires.

I have tested 2 weeks ago and had an ABS problem.
Solved it and last wednesday was my last test day. Man, that car has some stopping power.
Everything worked great, had the shocks set on smooth track settings per manual. Had a little understeer.
At home I noticed that the outer side of the front tires were worn more than the inner sides.
Didn't had the time to do an alignment on the car before the race. It has -2.1 camber now. Will give it some more negative camber.

    Looking good!
My new son-in-law is from The Netherlands, and said to tell you to keep away from those coffee shops before the races, whatever that means.
He sure thought it was funny?

I don't smoke, so no need for going to a coffee shop.

Congrats! Have to agree on the color scheme. Car looks great. I was in Amsterdam a few weeks back. I wish I would have had time to do something besides work.

Last sunday was the second round of the Dutch Time Attack series.

In the warm-up I got a black flag for making too much noise. You get only 1 warning for the noise, if it stays too loud, the will disqualify you for the race.
I know where they are measuring the noise, so I short shifted there, hoping to stay under 95dB.

Had the fastest time in qualifying and could lent some tire warmers for the final lap.
Unfortunately I started with not enough gas in the car, lost power in some right turns, but still managed to get the second place.
Keeping me the leader in the standings.

    Video from qualifying.
I short shift before the last corner and stay in 4th gear on the straight.
