Yes, it showed zero signs of issue with rolling starts.
Yup that car runs hard! My red GTS was on a slick, but it went consistent 1.31-1.33 60 on a good track. Bad track was usually a 1.37 spinning.
Any links to where I can get one?

Very difficult, you will just have to search. I would try John Donato or perhaps a salvage? This gets confusing, but, i am fairly sure this is correct

The 2010 "improved" Gen 4 transmission you are referring to had a 0.5:1 6th gear...only 5th gear was changed.
This seems ideal to me.

Opinions?
I think one of the problems with the 0.5 gear was that the engine did not have enough power to utilize that low of a gear on the track. Top speed was actually in 5th gear, not 6th gear, that may have changed with the 3.55 diff. The speed calculator shows 190 mph in 5th gear at 6400. Therefore, you are probably right, if you don't care about going faster than 190 mph, a 0.5 gear with the 3.55 diff is a nice gear set.
Jack,
The 0.63 6th gear was never used in a production Gen 4 - only 5th gear was changed. This is pretty well documented over on the other site:
http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/...ACR-5th-gear!?
That said, Viper Parts of America at one point offered PROTOTYPE TR-6060s with the revised 5th and 6th gears:
http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/...n-Prototypes!?
But the key word there is prototype. You already know the 5th and 6th gear ratios are independently variable in the TR-6060 (this wasn't the case with the T-56), so someone changed both in yours (or if it was a 2010 transmission, they changed 6th) before you took delivery of it.
I am doing the same thing. I have a built Rossler TH400 with a 3500 RPM stall and a trans brake sitting in the shop. Are you going with a Gear Vendor OD?
I want to run the 1/2 and full mile and will run out of gear with just the auto trans.
* Sorry for the slight sidetrack...
OP...
Glad to see you found some tires to hold the power.

Steve:
You have several good points. The 2010 trans in my car was from a salvage car. It is hard to tell what was done. I do not think it gets any better, you have the numerically higher 1 thru three gears and the best 5th gear. Personally, i do not like the 0.5 sixth gear, the 0.63 gear fits my driving far better. I was looking at the speed calculator and the .063 gear gives you 73 mph at 2000 rpm. The 0.5 gear gives you 93 mph at 2000 rpm.
When I bought the trans I sent it to John Donato to check it out. John indicated it was like new. He also said that this trans was referred to a 6060 magnum, it was good for an extra 100 ft-lbs. The trans also had tapered roller bearings versus ball bearing in some races. I also found out today that the the 2010 and earlier 6060 is no longer in the Chrysler parts system, it was recently eliminated. I had the car out today, it is definitely a 0.8/.63, 5/6 with the numerically high 1 thru 3.
I like to cruise fast, usually 85-95mph on texas highways. Your trans with a .5 6th would be PERFECT in my car. I may have to have one built.
Will a 3.07 rear gear work in Gen5 diff?
Awesome rims. I have a set of 17X10 for another car and the CCW's are unbelievably light.
