#33 Viper leading in the last 5 minutes of the race has to bow out from overheating.

#93 Viper takes 4th.

About 10 minutes out from the end of the race, Mario is leading in the Porsche. His brakes locked up and the Porsche goes off the track. He recovers back onto the track, Viper moves into first. Within minutes the Viper overheats. Viper retires to the pits and Mario takes first back. Heck of a race.

Yeah but we are gettin pretty close to that no longer being true. I am thrilled at the level of success the Viper has had. What an awesome platform.

Heartbreaker yes but congrats to all involved for the great effort and all the success so far. I think the team is filled with an impressive group of people

Got an email from Dominik late last night. He said it was a heartbreaker, and wished he could have seen the Viper boys on the podium. He thanked us for the congratulations on his brother Mario's win.

Someone posted on the VOA Facebook account that it was road debris that hit the engine compartment which eventually caused the overheating.

Just gut wrenching. Followed from the beginning. Amazing effort though. They are doing the viper nation proud!

This OP has done this before. Btw, this thread was up very shortly after the race.

How about a more appropriate thread title next time such as: "Sebring Race and Results [Spoiler]" ? This shows a lot more courtesy to others. We can still come on the VOA Board, avoid that thread and enjoy the rest of the threads.
