    Plastic hood vents?

I remember on the gen 4 they said removing the plastic honeycomb vent covers resulted in better cooling/downforce. Wondering if that still is the case?

The CF is very thin on the edges and frankly looks horrible without the vents Luke. I don't think it would be a good thing, but unfortunately the guy that would have had that answer is no longer with SRT. :-(

I've seen one car in person without them and agree with Mark, it doesn't look right. But if someone came out with some carbon fiber trim pieces that framed the openings and were completely open in the middle I think that could look good. I've had that thought for a while and have considered getting with a friend who has a 3D printer to see if we could scan the OEM piece, remove the center in CAD, and then print a prototype but haven't got around to it.
